May 25th, 26th, 27th, Monaco hosted the third round of the 2007 World Series by Renault Championship and once again Clivio was able to show is speed during is home race but a small mistake ended his weekend in a sad way as he was in a podium paying position for 20 laps into the race, running in third . However from lap 21 things did not run smoothly for the young Monegasque.

After a less than normal start the field got away from the line cleanly, Clivio settled into third position behind Parente and Vettel, all three running within 1.2 seconds of each other which set the tone for the rest of the race. On lap 20 Clivio set the fastest race lap time, however, on lap 21 Clivio lost the rear of his car going into the Mirabeau corner end spun before touching the wall when he attempted to restart the his car ending his race there and then.

To finish his weekend off Clivio’s fastest race lap was then beaten by Alvaro Barba who put a new set of tyres in the closing laps of the race to score a point and salvage something of his weekend.  

“I’m really disappointed as we had everything in hand to realise a perfect weekend, then a small mistake cost me a podium during my home grand prix, all weekend the car was handling really well and I was feeling really confident about myself but as we know in Monaco mistakes are not allowed and I made one to many " Said Clivio. “The good thing is that we show real speed and my confidence is high right now, I'm really looking forward to the next round where I will be there to fight for victory. As we know we cannot win the championship anymore, we are not in the right position with the points but I can show how fast I am and how I can win races.”

Clivio’s next race will be at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary on the weekend of 15th July,
